Blog thumbnails from any article link
Paste a post. We read its title, headings and brand colour and design a thumbnail for your blog page and a preview image for LinkedIn and X.
- Free to use
- No design skills
- Blog card + social preview
- PNG and HD
Works with most blogs. We read the title, headings and your brand colour, and you can change everything afterwards.
Made from real articles
Each of these was generated by this tool from a post on the QwikPost blog, with no edits.
Three steps, under a minute
- 01
Paste the article link
Any public blog post. We read its title, section headings, list points, reading time and brand colour.
- 02
Pick a look and tweak it
Card or headline layout, an outline, checklist or post-style card, and any text or colour you want to change.
- 03
Download and publish
Save a PNG or an HD PNG and set it as the post’s thumbnail or social preview image.
The image is the first thing people read
On a blog page or a LinkedIn feed, a clear thumbnail tells readers what they’ll learn before they read a word.
Readers see the payoff
The card shows the article’s actual sections or takeaways, so people know what’s inside.
Consistent with your brand
Every thumbnail shares one style and your colour, so your blog looks designed, not assembled.
Better link previews
Links without an image show a blank or random preview. A 1200 × 630 image fills the card on every network.
Seconds, not an afternoon
No design tool, no template hunting. One link in, finished images out.
Two images for every post
Exact sizes, so nothing gets cropped or blurry when you upload.

Questions, answered
Everything else about making thumbnails with this tool.
Is the blog thumbnail generator free?
Yes. Make thumbnails for 2 websites a day without an account, or up to 10 with a free QwikPost account. Every article on a website you’ve already used that day is free.
Which sizes do I get?
A blog card at 1200 × 750 (16:10) for your blog’s article list, and a social preview at 1200 × 630, the size LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Slack use for link previews. HD downloads are twice as large for sharp results on retina screens.
Does it work with any blog?
It works with most public blog posts. It can’t read pages behind a login, private drafts or sites that block automated visits. If one fails, try the public link to the article.
Can I change the text and colours?
Yes. Everything it reads is editable: the title, topic, reading time, site name and the three lines on the card. Pick from preset colours or any colour you like; we suggest your site’s brand colour when it has one.
Why doesn’t my logo show?
Many sites use SVG or ICO logos, which can’t be drawn into an image. Upload a PNG or JPG of your logo and it appears straight away.
How do I use the social preview image?
Set it as the post’s featured or Open Graph image in your blog platform (WordPress, Ghost, Webflow and most others have a field for it). Links to the article then show it on LinkedIn, X and in messages.
